i am using evox and xecuter3 chip. how do i ftp? do i go through evox or do i go through the xecuter3 screen? i cant seem to connect.

I don't know if this applies because your chip is more advanced than mine, but when i set up my FTP, i went through EvoX - system config - settings. It tells you what the line status is and should already have an IP address. I changed the IP from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2, then using my FTP program on the PC just put in the address (192.168.0.2) user: xbox password: xbox port:21 and it worked.

In a nutshell FTP - File Transfer Protocol.
It allows you to either install or extract files and other resources to or from your Xbox
