ok i have a modded dashboard (Evo X).....that i got recently and i try to go in xbox live and it wont let me.....i think the problem is that i have no MS Dashboard so can someone please give me a download link or something to where i can download the MS dashboard......and where i put the file???

If you had been successful, you'd be writing to us what you've been banned. Don't ever go live without disabling your chip or you need the dual boot of SID 4 for mods.
If it smells a mod, you get the ban hammer then it's a cluster f*ck to get back on.

Is your box chipped or softmodded?
Is the softmod SID3, SID4 or some other softmod?
If it is SID3, you can't play Live.
SID4 need to be installed with a dual boot.

its softmods and it isnt sid3 or sid4 its some other soft mods from another site

Best bet.....download XED (disc.iso)
Choose to upgrade the softmod. Select to install over exhisting nk dash. Don't forget replace the dash.
Note....This will erase any game saves, games, apps and trainers you have on your system so be sure to make a back up of all that on your pc FIRST. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

DM i think this is a better ideal.
get xed click UNINSTALL ALL SOFTMODS it will ask to turn off SAY NO then look for ms dash 5960 and click INSTALL MS DASH 5960 it wil then ask u to turn off . NOW IT SAFE TO TURN OFF
now u have a retail xbox then u can grab sid4 game save and installer linux and re softmod it . ..
that way u dont loose any info..
now DM did mentioned to backup ur xbox SO FTP IT PLZ 2 HAVE A BACK UP JUST IN CASE... laterz.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Pay attention to what gus738 Said.
BACKUP YOUR EEPROM and other files you want to keep and FTP them to your PC, before you do anything else
If you remove the wrong files and can't boot your Xbox, you'll have all the files needed to recover.
I had to learn the hard way that you always need to have a backup!
