I am looking for an alternative to Outlook and Express.

Does anyone know of a good FREE email client to use?

I don't use either. I use Gmail. If you wish to try it, let me know and I'll send you an invite. Wink

Try ThunderBird. It's quite a bit like Outlook, but it's got heaps more features. As a bonus, it was made by the Mozilla team. It's free too.

If you don't like that, I've also got a bunch of Gmail invites I'm never gonna use.

What is gmail? I not familiar with this one? What is up with "invites?"

I use Firefox on my home PC due to having Win98 and IE6 has some major problems. I cant seem to log into any site that requires a login, so I am using Firefox. Now outlook express is operating at an excrutiating slow pace, so I figure just do away with M$ apps.

I need to upgrade that PC but in due time.

I have used Eudora in the past, but heard it has ads now. I have seen Pegasus, but it seems to have too much gargage.

I have heard of ThunderBird, I will check into it and gmail.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of Gmail...

It's like Hotmail...with some MASSIVE upgrades. It was launched in 2004 by the makers of Google. It has an awesome spam filter, inbuilt antivirus and over 2687MB of storage space (seriously, there's a counter on their home page). The invites are how you sign up.
