I have 3
the self explaining chip enable
But what are the and what do they do 1. bank 1 or 2 switch and flash protect on or off

Woah, might want to check the warranty on your language, buddy. I think your English is broken... Razz

I think I know what you're saying, though.

If you have an X3, the external switch allows you greater control over your chip. The four top switches on the standard X3 external swith are to determine which BIOS memory banks are ative (if you have the X3 Pro Switch or X3 CP, it's the four circular buttons). To flash a 1 MB BIOS (such as X3 - 3594), you would have the first two switches set to ON, and the second two set to OFF. To flash the other 1 MB bank, set them to OFF ON OFF OFF.

The Flash Protect switch is the same as the one on the chip itself. When it's on (Green) it just prevents you from accidently overwritting the BIOS.
