Hi can anyone show me a link to a tutorial or tell me how to burn a bios dvd to flash my bios on Xecuter 2.6 ce mod chip . Im staring to get confused i got my bios and a 300mb dummy file just need to know what to do and how to do it. please dont just tell me to go do my homework i spent 5 hours looking for a tutorial. Hopefully it will help.. Its really not too hard..
These tutorials maybe old but still explain perfectly how to flash a xecuter..
I also think you can flash your X2 over the network using a network cable.. I could ask one of the x2 mods to help you with this..

Hi many thanks for your reply everything seems ok but i was just wondering. would it be possible to just put the modchip in load one of the auto installers and flash the bios from there. once again many thanks in advance

your modchip will more the likely have a CROMWELL BIOS on it which is a legal bios.. You could install it and turn on your xbox with the modchip activated.. Then it will show the CROMWELL FLASH BIOS screen so you can insert a CDRW or DVD-R etc and flash..

I think the 2.6 is similar to the X3 that I have and can be flashed over the network. Just boot up with your chip and it will give you the option of flashing with http:
Use that and set your PC's ip to match the first three sets of numbers that the
Xbox is displaying on screen. (ie 192.168.0.1) You would need to make sure your pc ip is 192.168.0.XXX. Just replace the xxx with any number from 2 - 255.
After doing this, use IE (not sure if firefox will work) and browse to http://192.168.0.1 or whatever your xbox is set to. If the connection is correct, you should see a screen that will let you flash the bios.
