I believe you can but then again you can probably ftp half that stuff in there anyways through a lan connection....i have the usb adapter just never installed it....some time or another you are going to want to find a brand of media that works with your xbox whether it be cdrw, dvd r or dvd rw....just play around with them and after awhile you will get it straight...by the way i havent used the sp.ice but i have used regular xeniums which i like a great deal. Good choice....Later.
In the meantime I suggest downloading aid 2.11 from either the vip section or aideluxe.com via torrent. _________________ Xbox V1.6

ftp? so i can send most of that stuff through a lan connection! what kind of lan connection?can i use the one that u use to connect to xbox live and put the other side of the connection to the pc?So u mean that the xbox wont read any type of cd's even if u have the chip installed?I only know one type of blank cdr's that my xbox can read music from and those are princo.so it doesnt matter if the cd's are cdr or dvdr or dvdrw they can be used to transfer all that stuff?
Thanks for the reply yoshie. sorry about all the questions but really need to know what i have to buy so i can have everything ready with no problems

princo eh? never heard of them but if they work, use them.
If you want to connect a xbox straight into your pc use a X-over cable
if you have a nework hub then you can still use a normal patch.
I use all sorts of usb sticks and mp3 players as xbox memory cards but I have to use UnleashX to see the card, otherwise it`s a case of hidding the data in a game save file like the ones created by emulators and dashboards and such, then digging it back out with a file explorer after you`ve put it on your hdd.
