Are you making an iso image first and then burning that? What type of media are you using? _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

to extract the RAR's, get WinRAR and dbl click the first piece, then select Extract to and save ti somewhere. you will end up with the ISO. to burn a game thats copied to your Xbox use a program like Qwix to create an ISO from the game folder ont he harddrive

find the first piece, it will either be .rar or the lowest numbered one. dbl click it and it will open in WinRAR now select everything inside (should be the iso for a game) now click Extract To and save it somewhere. it will automatically open, extract and combine all the multiple RARs
to create an ISO of a game from your Xbox dvd drive using Qwix, open Qwix, select create ISO. select FTP folder. select D:/
to create an ISO from a game thats ripped to the hdd of your Xbox. Open up Qwix, select create ISO, select FTp folder and browse to the games main folder example F:\Games\DOOM3

For your copying issues, try a different brand of media, like dvd-r. _________________

Just to add to impwiz's comment, for some reason xbox seems to like TDK media including CD-R and DVD +R for backups. Even at 16x speeds for CD and 4x for DVD.

Simple solution. He was creating a NTFS ISO. He wasn't using (from what I read) a great program like Qwix or CXbox tool. He was probably using Nero or something to burn the files. Which burns it in NTFS, not FATX. So, use CXBoxtool to create the iso (from the folder you pulled off the XBox) and burn it.
To know if the ISO was created correctly, install WinRAR and double click the .iso file. If WinRAR tells you the file's corrupt and cannot be read, it work right........

it's CDFS, NTFS is hard drive format, as for this, it's most likely that your not using the tools mentioned above, or that game might need some patching.
try this.
1.- copy the game's default.xbe to some temp folder in your xbox, then use the file explorer from dvd2xbox and select the folder and choose to run ACL.
2.- ftp your game files to your computer and the patched default.xbe, (don't worry about default.xbe_orig) and replace the retail one.
3.- make sure there are no 0 kb files in any of the folders, as this can give you boot issues.
4.- make iso with qwinx or cxboxtool.
5.- burn at 4x, and cross fingers.
