Hey guys, i need help
Im trying to burn Conker (i use alcohol 120) but the game is too big to fit on a standard 4.7 dvd. i heard ppl say they took out other language options and xbox live stuff, but how do you do that?
How do i fit it on the disc??

yeah- Get rid of all that xbox live junk (being as you wont be playing it on live) and prob. get rid of the PAL settings- If you need some more help *like on what to delete- hold on a bit- im geting a copy of conker in my box- and start looking for unessecary files.

You would need to be specific Loki because my feeling is that he's not sure how to even remove those items prior to the burn. So save a lot of back and forth and be as detailed as possible. well, my friend is burinig the game for me right now becuase i couldtnt get anything to work
but the problem is he couldnt either.
He tried deleting extra stuff for advent rising and did the same with conker but it didnt work
Is there a certain was to delete them or something?
or should we just tru to burn it?

sorry sorry- sharks right- i wasent specific enough.
you needed to either FTP over to your xbox- save the game to your hard drive (hopefully you have a big enough HD!!) then FTP over- or just get into it through your computer from the disc *if you can*.
Then you would delete all the extra crap off- make sure your friend knows what he is doing- and not deleteing important files.
Then try buring it to an ISO image (or what ever you guys do- i honestly dont know- i have never burned an xbox game- but i know what files wouldent be nescessary to run the game. )

i remeber reading somewhere that you delete these files: UPDATE.XBE and DASHUPDATE.XBE and that should ake it fit on a regular dvd.

could be-i havent really read much up on the game, i mean i have it down to my HD, but thats about it. Why dont you make copys of these files, then delte them then try running the game that way. Please post your results- as i would like to know the outcome!

Iv tried a few things to burn this game and im running out of ideas.Iv del dashupdate,update.And burned it that dont work.Then i tried tel the german,spanish text files ect.. that didint even start the game now what ? Does xbox read Dual Layer dvd's ?
I just tried Halo i did the same as conkers i got the error saying there is an error the disc is scratched or corupted ?!?

I burned it just fine without deleting ANYTHING!!!!! Use a dual layer disc. I have about 10 games that are too big for a blank dvd. They all work fine on dual layer discs. My xbox is modded with the X3 chip and it runs them all fine.
