ok i just softmodded an xbox
and i am having a couple problems
when i rip some games to the harddrive they won't play
some examples being x-men legens 2 and gta san andreas
and last question is how do i put emulators on the drive and which one do i use

did you upgrade the harddrive? a stock drive will be lucky to hold 2 games. plus what did you use to rip the games to the harddrive?

so good he had to post it thrice Razz what version of Dvd2Xbox? not that it really seems to matter much, i've heard of older versions working where new ones didn't and vice versa. so... i got no real advice for ya, sorry :/ although i can tell you that GTA: SA works on mine off the hdd, but i ah borrowed it from the internet and didn't rip it myself

Hi,
Might the rip be bad ?
Have u deleted the games and re ripped to the HDD ?
I ripped 'Ultimate Pro Pinball' to my HDD - It blocked up when played off the CD-RW disc but when played of the HDD it was fine ???
WTF !

Have you tried clearing your Caches after installing the game? If not, then delete the contents of /E/Cache, X, Y, and Z. DO NOT DELETE THE CACHE FOLDER OR THE X Y AND Z PARTITION, just delete the contents within. Then try your game, it should work. If it still doesn't work, then ask around to see if someone knows where to find a patch.
