Hey frizzl, pirrup or AusDude.
When frizzl said downloaded content do you mean all the saved game data?
I SM one of my xbox's that worked with splinter cell but now when I try to do others it seems that when I load SID it doesn't quite load everthing(I don't get any errors) but the bar at the bottom goes about 80% on the second package and on the 3rd pkg. it goes about 5% at that point I try to use AID2.02 and it never reads it.

he meant the download content for splinter cell, which you download off XBL.
im not quite sure what you mean... do you mean it stops at 80% when your installing a dashboard? or when your installing the softmod? _________________ <b><u>Xbox v1.6</b></u>

When I go to install softmod from the sid 3 menu, then c: drive (evodash) then with/without tray open. the first of the files it goes to %100, but then it starts dl another file the bar goes to 80% then it starts a 3rd file and goes to 5%. when I try to put the aid disk in it never reads it... and sometimes i get that service error

in my situation (with my classic copy it came with Downloadable cntent on a dsic) my Softmod refused to start. It would just freezse while in Splinter Cell. I was just warning others in case anyone else had this setup.

can I take this as a mention that Splinter Cell classic version will be exploitable as long as you've not installed the extra content then?

Wish I had know this before I started down the softmod road - I sold my 'SC classics PAL version' and had to then track down an 'Original' version.
At least some one has now ended the 'SC classics - will it - won't it' debate.
So as long as you don't install the second disc you are saying it should work.
