If youve got a fry's electronics near by, then youre in luck. They've got 160GB, 7200 rpm, 8mb cache Maxtor HDD's for $70 USD with no rebates.
They also have 250GB western digitals for $170 and that comes with a $30 mail in rebate, so $140 afterwards.
Good deals guys, I just upped my xbox to 160GB! _________________ XBOX v1.0:

You don't have to have one nearby, as they do have a website.
then go to the outpost for the deals. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

the online site is actually a different entity then their physical stores, so the deals are a little bit different, but the got an 80 GB and a 250GB HDD for pretty cheap after rebate on the site, but not the 160 GB for 70 bucks. Happy hunting guys! _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Funny you brought this subject up about HD deals...Best Buy is running a nice deal on 120GIG WD HD's, unfortunately as usual there are rebates to wait for, but @ 69.00 being the final price, it may be worth it for someone who is just getting started or still with an 80GIG.
I don't understand why they have to continually offer friggin rebates, why not just discount the damn thing and get it over with. Most likely they are either hoping you don't send it in, or they just want to collect interest on the extra money for a few months...who knows.

Also, CompUSA has 250GIG HD's for 129.99 after instant savings...yay, no rebates. However, the website says sold-out (ad just came out today) so you are limited to finding at your local store. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

I recently aquired a 160gig from Newegg.com for $91. It's very quiet and I've had no problems with it in my Xbox. Check them out.
