I have one question on ways to restore your MS dash on a softmod xbox. The way i restore my MS dash is, Load up SID with the correct game, and then go to restore MS Backup. Is there any onther way to restore your MS dash on a softmodded xbox besides using SID, or Manually FTPing and draging MS dash to the C:/ drive. I have AIDv2.1 Final, and i would like to know how X Select works on the xbox, i know you can select your dash of choice to boot up, can i add MS Dash to X Select and boot it from there, and play on xbox live?

Yes, you could FTP into your Xbox, delete all the files on C and copy over the clean unmodded xbox dash again. Alternitavely, you can use AID to Format C Drive and Install the MS Dash from that.

No, Xbox Live only works when you are not using a hacked BIOS (which is when a modchip is turned on usually). There's other ways to play games online apart from Xbox Live (Xbox Connect and XLink KAI).

Sounds like you might be confused. XBox live is a online gaming engine...just like X link and XBconnect. Tunneling X link or XBconnet make the box think it's on XBL. SID blocks access to XBL to prevent people from getting banned. When on XBL, M$ looks for modded files on the HDD and bans the box if they find any. no you cannot play xbox live with turned on modchip or any softmod installed.
