Hi guys,
Ok all the fun is now starting to ebb out of my body. Been trying to kick some life back into my dead xbox.
This is my present position at the moment.
1) xbox with NO dashboard and original harddrive put back in.
2) Error 16 - can't set clock, no dashboard !!!
3) Downloaded loads of programs, including AID.
4) Burnt several DVDs in attempt to boot.
5) drank loads of coffee & pulled my hair out.
I was hoping to get this sorted before I go back to work on Monday.
My question is this: Can I reflash the bios & get a new dashboard by simply using a DVD?CDRW or USB stick?

you need a chip to be able to read the burnt dvd or cdrw discs. and the usb stick wouldn't be recognized unless you made the adapter or had linux (mod) running. lol just buy a chip or put the hdd in a friends chipped box, and rebuilt the drive with your aid disc. _________________ Blue Chaos
