just wondering, does the hub use a different power source? or have you gone that little bit extra and hacked a molex cable or something? my hub uses 12V so maybe I will do this!

woa, feels good to be back. i was suprised to see that my old thread had been bumped. haha, but to answere you question i did use the psu. i used the 7v trick to power the hub, but if i had it to do again i would have build a voltage regulator. make sure you check all over your hub and make completely certain that its 12v before you install it. just to be sure because usually smaller components like that use around 7-9v. cheers.
