I did something studpid, I thought the file xboxdash.xbe in the AID2 will update my ms dash, I had a working softmod xbox but can't get into the ms dash so I ftp the file xboxdash.xbe from AID2 and reboot the xbox and that screw up my xbox. It there any way to restore my working xboxdas.xbe to me xbox, I have a backup copy in my pc hd.

Whats your setup??
1. Do you have a modchip or softmod??
2. Can you still boot the AID2??
If you can still boot the AID2 just reinstall the dashboard again to the C:\ Drive of your xbox.. Then it should be back to normal mate.
Im hoping you have a modchip because if you have a softmod you could have stuffed something.. Just let us know if you can boot BACKUPS still.
I had the softmod box,I got it from ebay, I don't have the backup from the original, this box came with 160gb. I put the AID2 in the dvd drive but it still boot to the green error screen #21, I just can do anything but play with the original game on the dvd drive. I'm sure the file xboxdash.xbe screw up my box but just can't figure out the way to replace the file.

I need to know.. It sounds like you have a softmod.
If you have a softmod you will need to reinstall the softmod again.
How do I do that? It just boot to the green screen except the original game dics in the dvd drive, any other dics in the dvd drive will boot to the #21 screen. I know there is just the file xboxdash.xbe was mesh up, I just need to replace that file.

since your softmod isnt working anymore.. You will have to 1st reinstall the whole softmod again..
Then once its installed again it will fix this problem..
You cant boot Backups so therefore you will NOT be able to FTP or manually transfer the file.
So, Read up on how to softmod your xbox using SID3..
