Hey guys,

I have the X3 xecutor chip on a ver 1.3 board. Everything has worked great for months and just the other day my brother tried to watch a DVD on my XBOX, not knowing anything about the modchip, he said he pushed buttons until he got the DVD to boot up. Great.

Now, when I boot the Xbox up the display is B&W and jumping around the screen (like the v-hold was bad). I have a feeling he changed the display settings. So my question is, can't I erase the bios and reload it? Any suggestions here would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds to me like he switched the display settings from NTSC to PAL (Assuming you're in North America). Just switch it back to NTSC-M, or NTSC. That should fix it.

An Easy way to switch.

Hold the Left Trigger and [X] for NTSC
[Y] For Pal

on boot up.
