does the xecuter 2.6 make it easy to put a new harddrive in like xecuter 3? _________________ xbox v1.0

the xecuter 2.6 doesn't have an os like the x3, but the smartxx does with all the formating/cloning options.

thats wierd because when i checked if the smartxx was able to format/prepare a new harddrive it said no and thats comin from te smartxx website hmmm. and thats what i really want to do besides change the flubber screen. _________________ xbox v1.0

When you update the smartxx lt opx os to version 3345 it the exact same thing as the the rest of the smartxx family, u can format, clone and all that good stuff. you can check on the smartxx forums if u want, to hear it straight from them...
as for changing the flubber thats easy. u can do all that with the xecuter bios.

another quick question, after i install it and flash it and i have a saved game with the raincoat can i load that and flash my TSOP using evox? because i would love to just disable the mod chip and let it load xecuter 2 bios. thanxxx

well its just untill i run out of this batch of chips. i have 4 smartxx's left.. as for the raincoat. im not sure how thats gonna work... im pretty sure u wont be able to flash the tsop that way. u would have to softmod then flash. if u boot from the chip first it boots from the lpc and not the tsop, in order to flash the tsop u would have to boot from the tsop... _________________ Modchips CaseMods & More...

Why do you want to flash your TSOP???
If you put a chip in, that's kind of superfluous. Either flash the TSOP or install a chip...not both.
As far as saving games to your HD, you are going to add a larger one correct? Your stock HD wont fit crap on there really.
Let me know if you are interested in buying a prebuild mod. I think that would be a great solution for you.
