i have jusy bought an action replay. i have downloaded softmod installer deluxe. but when i try to put it my ar program it says not a valid xbox save. can some one plz tell me what i am doing wrong. thx

When you download the file, they are usually in a RAR format. Use a program like WinRar to extract the file. _________________ Xbox v1.3

Keep in mind that not all AR memcards are equal, and some AR memcards have been known to corrupt the SID gamesave, which sounds more like what's going on than anything else, especially if the game detects the gamesave, and pops up with that error only when you attempt to access the save.
The SID saves on the AID2 disc are in ZIP format. Try installing the gamesave of your choice to your own xbox (which won't harm your softmod, btw) through the AID2 disc and transfer through the GameSave manager to an Official XBOX memcard. Then proceed as normal with the transferring to XBOX HDD, etc. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
