Hello, I just got done softmodding my xbox ... im at the point where evox dash is up and i have many options. I stuck in one of my games and tried to connect to xbox live .. however it wouldnt connect or even try! Can somone please tell me what to do in order to get either my xbox live to work with the softmods ... or to do whatever it takes (even if its completely unistalling the softmods) to get my xbox live to work again!

No problem man. First, you restore ms dashboard backup in the SID main menu or create one if you haven't already done so. Then reboot your xbox so that the default dash is restored. At the MS dash; go to settings and then network settings. Check that both IP and DNS are set back to automatic and not manual. Go ahead and troubleshoot connect from there to make sure that you are good to go. And please, don't go on live with a modded dashboard! You can easily be banned if Microsoft detects it, especially when your on halo 2 online.

thanks alot guys ... but i think i got another problem .... when i try to restore ms dashbored ... it said it failed! what do i do!!!!

ook big big problem .... im not sure what i have done .... so bare with me ... when i turn on my xbox ... it says .. cannot connect to xbox live please try again later ... doesnt give me any options ... same things happens when i try 2 start it with the tray open ... what are my steps from here?

wow the stupid thing is trying to update every time i turn my xbox on .. then it says cannot connect 2 xbox live and i have 0 options ... all i can do is click ok and then it tries it again! If i could get back to the steps where you go to memory and upload the softmod onto your xbox ... then i would be fine .. but i cant get passed the update screen! Please help!
