Done a format on c and e,i'm chipped by the way.Haven't touched my f drive(80gb).I've installed ms dash while in aid 2,and installed unleash on e.I've put x-select on e also, but now it just boots ms dash all the time, how can i get it to load my e dash instead,i've tried with x-select but it doesn't come up during boot and straight back onto ms dash again!!!!
Please help!
Thanks

Have you modified your dashboard.xbx to point to the e _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who can't.
i'm not sure if you can just edit an xbl. a bios has a certain boot order, it looks for a dashboard first in one place then another and maybe another, and if it don't find them there, then it looks for the m$ dash on C:, you would need to edit/change your bios to have the xbox boot to f: first. it looks like its booting to either e: and not finding a dash so then looking to c and finding m$, or maybe its just looking at C: first and only finding m$ there

Edit dashboard.xbx with any hex editor, and make sure it's pointing to the e:
Why don't you install your dash on c: anyway? Rename the current msdash to something else, and then put your evox (or whatever the dash you want to use is) in replacement of it. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who can't.
