ill agree the ps3 looks like a printer and "the lean mean fat grilling machine". both of the consoles look like crap. think with all the money they have they could at least get some better designers. the ps3 and 360 will both kick ass graphics wise but they look like shit. _________________ XBOX

granted, microsoft do need to buck up their library of QUALITY games, that are fun to play even if the graphics arent that brilliant, the PS2 had this down to a tea and even if no one agrees with that statement, the sheer volume of titles available to your average ps2 owner is staggering especially when compared to xbox's fairly meagre offering, despite the fact that ps2 had a year headstart that alone would not account for such a deficit. hopefully this will change with the dawn of 360, as games for both platforms are going to continue to be produced at least for the short term so if you own a 360 theoretically the number of games available to you will grow quite rapidly.
One quick question for the tech heads. If the xbox uses an emulator to run its old games will they look any different or perform any better with the new architecture? i was just wondering because i was reading up on the dreamX 1480 which states that a faster cpu and more robust memory should lead to sharper graphics, crisper sound and possibly a performance boost. so will this be noticable on the 360 (yes i know it would be ludicrous to unleash the entire processing capability for emulation but maybe a slight enhancement?) also if it is the case that performance is better then how will this affect the play on xbox live? surely thqat will lead to 360 owners having a distinct advantage over regular xboxers??
However it is done, i hope the 360 does not make xbox 1 games suffer, because i know the emulation of ps1 on the ps2 console caused a distortion of graphics on occasion, stretching, colour distortion ect. so hopefully this will not be the downfall of this otherwise great platform.
Oh and as a final note, i didnt say the ps3 was ugly, it just happens to look like one of them geroge forman grills, which incedentially are quite versatile cases, you caqn quite easilly build a PC into 1 using the micro ITX form factor and the end result is guite cool. lol not theres a thought, could you build a pc inside a ps3 case? _________________ XBOX v1.4

like that? I have loads of consoles
sat on bookshelfs in my bedroom and
i can see it won't fit without taking
a shelf out. which then means that
