I ordered goods from these people on 4/22 and paid for expedited shipping.

As of 4/26, I had received NOTHING! I sent an email that went unanswered for 24 hours.

Today, I received a gen'd email with a USPS tracking number and found that they had shipped the order to some address in Ohio!

Because these a-holes will not answer emails and have no telephone number I am likely SOL.

Any reccomendations?

So far, The Console Corner simply SUCKS!

Did you pay by Credit Card? Any time you order anything that is being shipped, you should use Credit or Debit card because you can always dispute the bill and inform your CC company that your products or services were never rendered. They would then refund your money after a short investigation and charge back the vendor.

If you paid via paypal, there are ways to go about it as well, but I am not 100% sure as I have never had to dispute a charge via paypal. I have though with my Visa Debit Card and withing 10 days I had my money back.

Your only other choices are the BBB or civil action, civil action is the last resort as this company is probably very far away from you. If you end up going through the BBB, don't excpect fast results, if any.

BTW, who is the console corner and where are they located??

And where do you live?? Time difference maybe? Gee you dont expect much!

I live in Australia and ordered over $200.00USD worth of xbox stuff from http://the-console-corner.com and it arrived within 10 days.. Excellent service and all the products were in 100% working order.

Also, 4 other members from australia have ordered stuff and had nothing but great things to say..

Please don't bad mouth a small business when it has only been such a short time since your order..

I agree, at first I didn't look at the dates. You placed your order on a Thursday. Also, if you placed your order after a certain time, there would have been no chance for them to even have the package picked up until Friday. If your order was specialized and had to be made to your specific order, then there is extra time too. I ordered a skin from a US company. The skin was 7.99 and I paid 12.99 for two day air. I ordered on a Thursday, received on a Wednesday. That's six days. I ordered another skin from Canada to the US and they shipped same day since I paid with PayPal. It took 16 days for me to get. If your order has to deal with any type of customs, then delays can always be expected. Hang in there, if people here are ordering and getting good results, then you are certainly not SOL. Just because the shipping is 'expedited' doesn't mean the order is. Give them time to get your product out to you. I think your comments at this given time are unfair.

Pjcnlv is right. Console Corner eats it. Ordered two items yesterday and then tried to contact them to add an item. Their website phone # is bogus, connects to a fax! Their email response is non-existent! Tried to cancel the whole order out of frustration and then I got a response fast enough - informing me their would be a 33% restocking charge before the stuff was every shipped or my credit card ever billed! Just trying to get the word out before someone else falls victim to these bums.

Typically when you submit an order what happens is a ticket/order number is established and the order is processed, electronically I may add. To add to an existing order for many companies is not possible. A friend of mine owns a 120 Million Dollar company that deals with software purchases.

So many times they get an order and someone either wants to edit it by adding a CD Copy, or add a product in addition to the one they purchased. The same thing happens to them. The only option you usually have is to cancel the existing order, and place a new order the same day with the extra product added.

I tried to find the phone number that you say is bogus, but I cannot find it on the site. Where did you see the phone number? Was it in a confirmation email? Is it possible that there are multiple numbers listed? I am sure that if you would have been able to talk to a human being and explained in a calm fashion that you actually wanted to spend more money at their place of business they would have happily waived the restocking fee. If it was too late to do that then that is just the way the cookie crumbles, you could have simply just ordered your extra item with a second order. But, as it happened you got upset that you couldn't get in contact with them and threatened cancellation. And, if you read the website you will see this:

Return Policy: There are NO REFUNDS, all sales are final. All items are shipped working, and in the original mfg. packaging, as received by us. Should you receive a non-working item, simply email us for return authorization to exchange your item. Upon receipt & verification of the damaged product, we will then and ship you a replacement, at no extra charge. All cancelled orders are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. All Cancellation of Pre-Order Items are subject to a 33% re-stocking fee! There are no returns on OPENED SOFTWARE. If it is found non-working it will be replaced, but returns must be in their original factory sealed condition.

It's located in the shipping information area. I was thinking that if they didn't post that, then they couldn't charge it, but it looks like they covered their bases well. That is mostly to ward off buyers remorse and cover processing costs. Almost every company that I have ever dealt with charges a restocking fee. I never liked them either, but it's just the way it is. As far as their email reply being non-existent you should always give a company one or two business days to respond.

I think you are being unfair in your bashing, but can empathize with your plight. The fact that a large percentange of members here have used this company with no issues proves that they are a decent company and not "bums" as you put it. I don't have a problem with you informing people about an issue that you have with a company, that is what this site is all about, information. However, to expect a company to jump through hoops just because you changed your mind isn't any reason to slander them.

Someday, maybe you will be on the other side and have to deal with someone who instead of thinking clearly and logically jumps off the handle and is irrational. Hopefully, you will remember your reaction to the same situation and not only feel remorse, but somewhat embarrassed.
