hi guys,
im running behind with all the hacking of the site and also the tonnes of work ive been doing lately.. But its all good.!
I think this month (JUNE's) competition will be the last for a little while.
I need to upgrade the entire backend so i cant have it online 100% and assigning points if you know what i mean..
Please try and understand how much work is actually involved in this site upgrade considering how much custom code and backend/database work i have done.. It will takes days and days..
So I will be locking the competition forums next month only until the site is upgraded. I PROMISE not to let you all down as you have done the site PROUD!
once again, hang in there and help make xbox-hq.com the biggest and best website there is.
last thing:
XBOX-HQ.Com is costing over $1000 USD per year to run just at its current rate (2GB storage 160GB bandwidth and FULL TOTALLY).. We are currently JUST covering the hosting costs.. I have upgraded diskspace today to 5gb for US all to use.. This means the site is now well over 1300 USD per year (*wow thats heaps.. Even for me)
We have heaps of space now but i have to pay for the most of it.. I will be soon advertising for those members who can afford it to throw in some dosh.. This will help me immensly.! The members who donate and are already VIP members next time will become VIP LIFETIMES NO MATTER WHAT..
anyway, i will get all prizes out from last month too.. Im getting behind but as im sure you all know IM A GENUINE GUY and WEBMASTER!

When my new site is up and running and and if I have a link here, for ever skin I sell through the link I will donate $1.50 to xbox-hq. I will also be having some xbox-hq stickers and custom skins soon for you. Any way I can help is fine with me. You are already helping mate.. Your doing a fantastic job.. I wish i had the same time available as i did when i first started the site..
Between us cool members here doing all the work we would have to have the biggest and best xbox community there is.. WE HAVE NO SLAGGING, NO SMARTASSES, NO LEECHERS and nothing but friendly people willing to bend over backwards to help.. I think the main reason why the site is so friendly is because people do REALISE how bad some forums can be and we wanted to make this world class.
I cant believe it...! I created this baby and its rank 1-10 in google for just about everything too.. Do a search on 'E13' or 'error 13' in google for instance..

Welcome to the competition!! However, technically you just have to show your interest in the forums by being active. We used to have to post here to say we were in, but now forahobby thought everyone should have a crack at it even without saying they want in. This way, if someone misses the post but still is active they can win a prize. In April, that is what happened to me. I had a ton of points, but didn't realize that I had to say I wanted in. The site owner was awesome though and still recognized my effort. You can kinda call it the realmccloy rule..HA.
