Yeah, it's not like you can put a cd in your dvd/game drive and then select a folder to download to. Oh, if only it were that easy....sigh

Dude, don't think your question was silly. I have asked some REALLY silly questions! Hell, last night asmunch was walking me through extracting downloadable content from demo disks and I couldn't figure out why my D drive was empty....

I forgot to put the disk in... Rolling Eyes

hey hey evilash3,

fancy you being from down under too eh? Seems alot of us here..! :0

Great to have you aboard mate..

Do you have the EVOX Dashboard installed on your XBOX?

If you install it you will be able to run the MAMEX emulator from the XBOX HDD..

You can also run it from the DVDROM Drive but you will have to tweak the .ini file like you mentioned.. Also are you making a XISO before burning it to dvd-r etc..

let us know as much info as possible.

Why not just ftp over to the xbox thats all you should have to do and ftp in to the right spot.

Yes, that is what I did.

However, if you are trying to play roms from a disk, why don't you just load the mame that way too.

I have a NES Emulator on disk with all the roms too.

I just load the disk, the emulator loads and then I select the game I want to play. Just thought that maybe that could be another way.
