help please i modded my xbox with great success great job on the tool and so easy to use well done.after my bro seeing my box in action we said we would do his all went well but we deleted his game save from the hard drive beacuse of 3 kids afraid they would mess things up.now our problem is with game in the xbox will boot and play no probs but with no game i get the xbox requires service message i know i need to redo the mod but its no longer on the hard drive and i cant get to the dash to put it back on.i got a cable and a 128 meg usb pen drive and a cable and try to load the save game from it but same message xbox needs service message.
Q1 how to get the game save back onto the hard drive
Q2 can i sign the game save to run off the usb pen drive and how.
Q3 is the only way to get it working is to bring it to someone to put in a modchip.
thanks all for reading this, you are awesome.i did spend hours looking for an answer before i posted

1) To put the gamesave onto your unmodded Xbox, go to your MS dashboard and go to the 'Memory' option. This is the place where you can transfer the gamesave from your usb to the hdd.
2) No you can't. I've been trying to do this myself for a while and haven't succeeded.
3) You could have a blank HDD in your Xbox and install a Modchip, the modchip doesn't care what it boots just as long as it has the right BIOS installed.
Hope that helps...

the problem is i cant get into the ms dashboard all the box will do now is to boot original games if i boot with no game in it tells me to contact microsoft. If i still had the save there i could boot the game and load the save and presto it would work again. But doh no save.Thats why i was looking for another way to get the save onto the box without using the ms dash.

Sounds like you're in trouble here...
I can't think of nothing that could be a simple fix either, especially if there's no gamesave and you can't access your MS dash.
Hopefully another one of our Softmod Admins can give you a suggestion, coz I'm out of them atm. Sorry dude.
