I have a xecuter 2.3bLite + and on one bank I used a bios given to me form this seller (which worked fine at first) and I loaded it to bank 1. After an instalation from an auto-installer cd (provided by the seller) my HD was set up. Now when I tried to use that installer cd again in the same XBOX and it will not read it. The seller tells me that he might had given me the wrong bios and that I should flash it from the same Xbox. Now I have read numerous tutorials but they all differ in some things and I am afraid of messing up the Box. Any sugenstions on how to go about it?
I became a VIP yesterday but I could not find the right answer there ( I think)

First of all you need to give us as much Info as you can.
what version Xbox
what bios
Did you move your switches around.
try putting them in this position
Enable, unprotect, bank 2
Try that hope it helps you out

Sorry I guess that will help.
The Xbos is a V1.5
The Bios I have no clue (on my evodash it says unknown)
And I tried moving the swithces from enable to disable and nothing
There was one combo in particular: disable-unprotected- bank 2 that led to red lights on the eject botton.
I know the bios is not executer because it loads to a microsoft name on the first screen _________________ GaMeS 4 LiFe

May be try update your bios to a new bios thats sound like it might be your problem go here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-57.html that wil teach you how to make a new bios boot disc.
