I have a customer requesting a specific dashboard that I am totally unfamiliar with. He wants userinterfaceX...
I see we have some downloads in regard to this dash, but am unsure if these are the latest and greatest, and/or complete bug free dashboards. Does anyone have any info on this dash? I am curious to why he is so set on this particular dash. UIX website is down somewhat for renovations and a lot of the links/downloads are not available. I checked at Xbins and found no download for it either.

UIX is the old thclite, blackstorm, and some other moded ms dashhboard makers merged together. if you ever used tchlite or modified the ms dash ( which is a bitch to do) the UIX dash has alot more features and is alot more stable.at one time they had some really neat projects going on for the dash but im not sure if they ever got any of the finished. make sure you get both parts to the UIX dash the uix.xbe and audio and fonts come as 2 seperate downloads. also ill have to check on the lateest version.

Seriously, I'm into customer support and all, but what is the point of chasing all that crap when it just seems this team has no direction.
There are so many other kick ass Xbox hacked dashboards out there that are complete and bug free... EvoX, Ava, MXM, UnleashX,....
I was expecting this dash to be the best thing since LBA48....lol.
I did see though how you had to do two separate downloads.

yeah the dash had/has great chance to do something nice but they havent been able to get anything really great off the ground yet... maybe when the new site gets finished theyll release a new version or some addons or something...

The only dashboards I have have personally used is EvoX, Ava, and MXM.

I just downloaded NeoDash and despite I am not fluent in the language it was written in, its a pretty nice menu structure, especially the rolling menu, I haven't had a chance to play with it or get skins for it.
I also downloaded UIX from xbins a little while ago and haven't gottn the energy to put it on.

damn bro i know youve looked at XBMC... right?
maybe not for n00ber customers but check it out for yourself... if you havent already. its worth it if you get any free time.
