I have te soderless chip isntalled in my box, it worked for about a month. with the hd and the os and all that good trash running on it. then it stopped working and im getting error code 05, hd not locked. any ideas on how to fix this so i can get back to my xbox.

Sounds to me like your soldierless modchip has come loose.. That is why i dont suggest soldierless Mods to anyone..
If you move your xbox around you will have to re-open and calibrate the modchip again.. In Otherwords, Open your xbox and re-install the mod where it should be sitting on the main board.. That is your problem..
MODCHIP WORKING AGAIN:

Once you have your modchip working again. you can lock your NEW
HARD DRIVE by loading the XBOX-HQ AUTO INSTALLER and choosing config magic application.. (this locks the hard drive).. Follow the onscreen instructions once its booted..!

I have installed the solderless chameloen on 4 different xboxs, and three different versions. All 4 xboxs haven been working for over 6 months. Mine is the origional version and I move my xbox around a lot. I take it to all my bodies places and that includes many hour car rides in some places. We all have larger hdd's and they work fine.
It sounds like the chip has come loose. Just make sure you tighten it down all the way and you should be fine. I dont know which chip you used but the chameleon needs two wires to be soldered on the 1.5 version.
