I have a v1.3 Xbox and i finally got my Cecuter 2.2 Lite. When i install the chip, i got a message telling me to insert the bios update cd. But no cd arrived with the package. What should i do? How can i make a working bios update cd?

You need to download your own 1meg bios and burn it onto a cdrw or dvd-r in a UDF\Xbox format or find a friend that has got one.

I burnt a cd with a 1 MB Bios in it. When it asks me for the bios update, i insert the cd, it does the update then restarts. But at the restart, it keeps asking for the Bios update cd. Did i do something wrong or should i try ro burn another one?

make sure you have at least 50 MB on the cd.

I’m not sure if it’s sorted out, But it will be after this.
Make sure you have the following:
A 1 Meg bios
DummyFile
xISO
You can find all of them using the download links from this site
Extract all of the files
Rename the bios file bios.bin
Put “bios.bin” in a folder
Open DummyFile
Click “Pick location…”
Select the folder you put your bios in
Click “OK”
Now choose how big you want your dummy file to be
(Change the number 1 to 50 or higher) and click “Build”
Now open xISO
Under tools select “Make a xISO”
Select the folder with your bios and dummy file then click “OK”
Name the file “bios update cd” and save it to your desktop
Now burn the ISO to a cd-rw no faster than 8x.
