Hi everyone.
I am having difficulties flashing my bios. I am trying to make a cd and use that to flash my bios. So far I have---
-downloaded Cromwell from this site and named it bios.bin
-read the instructions on how to make a bios CD(as seen in oxzodus.com)
-I added bios.bin to the cd along with misc "fluff" files like mpegs,jpegs
-burned a CDRW using those instructions. with nero
-the cd was approx 150mb in size. (i guess the fluff files help the xbox read the disk better)
So far, I keep getting "bios not sized properly" errors. I'm not quite sure what to do. Are there different sized cromwell bioses that I need to find? Should I add more "fluff" files? I could really use some help. I bought my xbox pre-modded so I'm hoping I dont have to open it up (im pretty sure I would mess up something). Could any Xenium owners help me out with flashing my xenium bios?

Hey 'sloth', I too have a Xenium and like yours mine was also premodded so you and I are in the same boat. The learning curve tends to be very bumpy. One difference between my machine and yours sounds like what bios we're using. Mine came preflashed with the Xecuter2 bios. Look at my signature to see the version as I do not know off the top of my head. Hang in there, it looks like you have been trying to get this solved for quite some time now. The way I look at it is, if the Xecuter2 bios that I have works on my machine, then it should work on yours. Do you have any support with the person whom you purchased your machine through?
