Hi, I just installed my 2.3+ lite and Xecuter2 BIOS. I've been trying to get EvoX on it for 2 days. I looked at numerous tutorials and followed them but still couldn't get my Xbox to recogize my discs. I tried Memorex CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW but none of them worked. I downloaded EvoX build 3935 first and then the Slayer installer from this site but still can't get it to work. I've used Craxtion, some XISO maker, Nero 6 to make the iso and the disc. Anyone out there having problems with getting a dashboard on your Xbox? I just bought the Xbox on April 1 and I think it's a 1.4 or 1.5 and it has a samsung DVD drive. Any suggestions??? I am about to throw my Xbox out the window.

I GOT IT!!!!
Finally after 3 days of hell. It was Nero 6.0 that was messing me up the whole time. Someone should update the tutorials and stuff to let newbies know that sometimes the burning software can be the culprit. Thanks everyone for trying.

Hm, weird. I've used Nero for years on many different types of burning procedures (like VCD/SVCD - Audio CD - DVD - Xbox DVD) and never had one problem. You must ofcourse use a different progam to create the xISO (Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0 is the best) then just use Nero to burn...
