I'm tweaking my xbox and I'm having a hard time deciding whitch mod chip to go with. They say there solderless but do you plug it into

well many modchips CLAIM to be soldierless but i think youll find that if you install a soldierless modchip using the POGO pins you will have nothing but trouble.. Its best just to get a modchip that is just soldiered i believe, but then again everyone is different..
All modchips are basically the same except for the latest chips like the xectutor, smartxx (with lcd), chamelon etc which have the capability to hold more then 1 x bios...
I install APPPLEXV modchips as they are very easy and normally come pre-flashed so you dont need to buuger around after the install..
e.g. http://www.kangamail.com has APPLEXV

The Chamelon will be ok but those POGO pins are tricky sometimes.. I hope its a real easy one for you.. Anyway, dont sweat it coz we have members here (VIP) that have just about every different modchip so you can always get the advice and answer youll need. I think our admin/mod name 'schmirk' has a chamelon from memory..
Just remember:
When you get you chameleon it will only have the 'CROMWELL BIOS' on it which is useless unless you want to run LINUX..
So in other words you should look up how to FLASH you CHAMELON.. You will need a hacked bios to flash you modchip with before you can play BACKUPS, EMUS and other HOMEBREW APPS..
