I have an Xecuter3 (pin header install) with the X3 1959 bios and every time I boot my box it goes to this setup screen for the chip, not the screen where you can flash the bios but the screen with "X3 config live", "bios tools", "disk tools", "EEprom tools", and so on and so forth. I was looking for a way to force it to boot Evox right off the bat without having to select the "reboot to dash" option.
as always any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have only installed a few of these chips, but I would assume that if you could get to the "config X3 bios" section, there should be an autoconfig.
Not sure, though, but I am sure others who have installed this chip more than me can tell you how to do the autoboot to your dash.

NoseDive, there is a way to do this. To do this: X3 Config Live -> Configure X3 Bios -> Autostart to X3 Config Live = Disabled.. I believe you will need to tell it the path of the Dashboard you want to load automatically. In the BIOS configuration you can edit the names of the dashboard XBEs as well as the priority. The menu selections should be pretty apparent. If you ever decide that you need the X3CL dash you access it on boot by holding down the white button on your controller....

I had figured out how to auto boot the dashboards but I still hadn't figured out how to get back the the X3 config live to change my options.

While you are booting your box hold in the White button to get back to the X3 live config screen

Yup, that will do it. I just installed an X3 yesterday and had to do the same thing.
I was impressed with all the goodies in the config live... just wish the chip wasn't so cumbersome to install... the LPC rebuild PCB made it a little easier... they give you such fat wire for the LFRAME connection...it's ridiculous. It's bad enough sometimes to get a 30AWG wire into those damn holes depending on how much lacquer crap is on the mobo...let alone that fat ass gray wire....lol.
When I installed the X3 yesterday I about crapped myself when I saw I backasswards the pin header. Instead of taking out the number 4, 6, and 16 pins I did the opposite sides....HA. I was so jacked off. That's what I get from doing it from memory. I had only installed a few X3's before and it's been two months since the last one.

yea i got it all figured out. I spent a few hours playing around in there one day changing boot priorities and messing around with the flubber colors. It really is sweet. Now I have my boot up animations to match all my led mods and skin....blue all the way!
