Well, I just got a crap load of daphne roms.
I have a five DVD pack of the PC Daphne Emu and roms. Wondering if anyone else has ever got a PC rom and just used it on an emu that was ported for the Xbox...
Basically, the heirarchy for the daphne X is not too bad, you have your mpeg folder, and then pics, sounds, and roms. Thats it.
I took the Space Ace mpeg and FTP'd it to the Space Ace mpeg folder on the Xbox, did the same with roms. And, FTP'd any sounds and pics to the proper folder...but when I try to launch I get somethingsomething.bin not found. I noticed that the .bin files are named different than the ones on my disk.
This is going to suck if I cant get these to work..

i FTp'd a NES rom that was for a pc emu, and it loaded fine on the xbox, but it did freeze after a few and i never tried again. maybe rename the bin so it matches? or rename it to the "somethingsomething.bin" not found one

Yeah, I thought about that. I just wondered what error would come next as there are five .bin files for the space ace game.. Here are all of the games I got for Daphne:

Well, I tried a few things and still am getting no where getting these roms to work on DaphneX...
Blown a couple hours dicking around with it so, going to stop the bleeding right now.
If anyone wants to do me a favor, let me know. Anyone in the states that is. I'll send you this five DVD Set of Daphne roms. If you can get them working on DaphneX, resave them and get them back to me that would be great.

can't really say i know anything about Daphne, but i'd give it a try. but how about just uploading one of the Roms to the site to experiment on? how big are the individual games? if its real big how about uploading it to a torrent site? i haven't uploaded any torrents lately, but i can find you a working tracker if you wanna throw it up as a torrent.
