Of course that was w/o Dillon, who has been averaging 130 yds per game, so go ahead...drink the koolaid like everyone else did prior to the indy game. Dont forget how confident Beefalo was after the season opener last season...billycheck got some payback on the 2nd meet. How many good runningbacks rushed for over 100 yards against the Steelers this year??
Big Ben isn't the key to this football team, or our win over the Pats.
Our key is the team. The team not making mistakes. Anyone who watched the Pats over the last few years knows you dont win 15 in a row by accident. Even the games we were about to lose, somehow they stillers pulled it out!!
If our rookie qb makes stupid rookie mistakes..then yes... a loss is closer than people would care to admit...but, if our offensive line dominates the pats defensive line and our defense plays like it has all year...then I see:

You gotta love the number 1 seed being the home dog in the playoffs!! We have no pressure....we're not even supposed to be here. I hope to hell Belichik stacks the middle and brings 8 guys in the box. The play action will give Plax a nice long ball ending that scheme. You can't scheme away a team out physicalling you. Regardless, it should be one of the best games all year. Sure, if it's not in the cards this year, I don't think you'll see one Steeler fan crying... They had a hell of a season!! You got to lose sometime.... I just hope it's not till next fall
As far as Roethlisberger....you gotta give the kid some credit...holy smokes... he has done a great job 90% of the time not losing the game for his team. I think last week against the Jets he showed his true rookie butterflies. But, even after the mistakes he made he never quit. He took the team on three very long drives. I watched the replay on Comcast On Demand (NFL Network On Demand) It's amazing how Pittsburgh out played the Jets and still almost lost that game. Overcame three turn overs and still pulled it out (I sent Doug Brien flowers).
I wish the Vikings all the luck in the world, I hope they don't get crushed by the Eagles. I doubt if Moss will make any stupid mistakes like walk off the field during a fake field goal attempt... oh wait.... they lost already, huh HA...

The viking thing comes from my fantasy football picks...pepper and moss the last 3 years. My team name was unoffically changed by the commisioner.
I cant wait for sunday...I hope its gonna be a close game, could be one of the best games all year. Yeah, gotta give Benny props...amazing for a rook. Yeah me too...then my 'vicklisberger' shirt would have come out to actually be a good novelty idea....lol.
This is definitely going to be one of the most physical games you will see all year.
The Steelers Jacksonville game this year was probably the most physical game I have ever witnessed in my entire life!! If you get NFL Network, they will be replaying that game all winter. It was amazing that someone didn't get paralyzed in that game....seriously! I have never seen such hard hits!
Enjoy the game Sunday!! It's going to be a friggin doozie!! On top of all the crap going on, we have a major snow storm coming in tomorrow...big time storm. You guys will feel like you are at home
I agree about the bus too! Never thought he had this season in him. I too was one of the many that thought his career was over...as a matter of fact, I thought that the last three years. Gives you an idea how well the O' Line is doing!!
And I checked the stat on how many 100 yard rushing games our defense has given up. 1, only one. Jamal Lewis rushed for over 100 yards in their loss here in Pittsburgh. Don't forget, we used to see Corey Dillon twice a year when he was with the Bungles!!

The Pats Indy game was too one sided....
The Steelers Jacksonville game was incredible on both sides....Geez you should have seen these guys hitting each other....
Was an amazing game. I'll record it on my PC when it airs again this winter. I know they will play it because it was one of NFL Networks, "games of the week". I'll pop it on a DVD for you when I have it.
