so what happenes when the next gen of xbox comes out? is this site gonna stick with xbox 1 or is it going to become xbox1 -xbox2 site and cover both? how long did it take with xbox before the mods started coming out? i imagine it won' t take aslong to mod the xbox2 as there is now a modding scene which didn't exist for the release of the original xbox. anyways, i sure hope the xbox2 is as pimp as the original

My vote (for what it's worth) is a xbox1-xbox2 site. I want one stop shopping.... hehehe.

nope, that was the first pic i seen lol. i like it. anyways i read there will be 3 releases (versions) of xbox2. te first 2 around August? of this year and the first one not ahving a hdd the second having a hdd, and the third one being released in 2006 (maybe) was a basically a pc for your entertainment center. full pc capabilities. jsut what i read, sources already forgotten

I would love to have this site cover xbox2 as well. Even if it doesnt I still cant wait to reverse engineer the crap out of the xbox2. Hopefully it will be easy to mod (at least as easy as the first) and praying it will have a HD or some way we can add an exernal one (ie USB) and it will support it. _________________ Xbox v1.0

Here's a place --> http://xbox2.joystiq.com/ that has lots of rumors about the Xbox 2 (Xenon). In their "Xbox 2 at E3?" article summary, it says the Xbox 2 will have a "flash-based" hard drive, allowing for fast access times and never-ending modding. If that proves true, we're set. I also liked the one about the "Xbox 2 storage patent?" it says that one game will be able to update another game. Example, Halo 2 would feed data to Halo. I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but on Xbox Morrowind III and Morrowind III GOTY did it. The one thing that I'm looking forward to finding out is backward compatibility of the games. If they do end up going with a different architecture for the processor then that means all of the xbox1 games would have to be emulated and requiring a lot of processing power.
besides backwards compatibility just makes good business sense, thats why Sony did so well right off the bat with the ps2 _________________ :_-=XBOX v1.0=-_:
