Hi guys,

Well i got my hands on the port of vice64x which is the c64 emulator for the xbox with full keyboard support..

Its unbeleivable but it has a couple of things that need to be added..

e.g. IN FRODOX 0.81 (excellent work DZ & Lantus) it has full keyboard support including c64 shortcuts like f1 - LISt and F7 - Directory (load"$",Cool

it also meant that you could also basically code in assembly language and also use other basic commands on the commodore 64 command line (basic)..

Im hoping he adds a option to boot to just the c64 screen like FRODOX..

Anyway, i will be posting acomment on his site at http://xport.xbox-scene.com

please help me try and get him to add this option to his next version of VICEX..

Hmmm, can anyone tell me how to make the roms work with the vicex?!

I've tried reading the nfo file but it really doesnt tell me much.

I put C64 roms I got on my Pc on a DVD-RW and put them in the roms dir of the vicex - but when I start vicex it wont find my roms..

YES, I unzipped/unRARed the roms before putting them on the xbox!

I'd appreciate some advice Very Happy

ok.. sounds like a .ini or .xml problem..

I cant remember mdt but does it have a .ini..

i think it does.. Just have a quick look and make sure it looks good and pointing to the roms directory..

Another thing:

I would leave the roms zipped as VICEX like MAMEX and many others im sure would support zipped rom files.. Smile

let us know how you go and if it still aint working it may be a bad copy of the main vicex.xbe..

DJB can send you a sample.. Hes running it all the time mate
