I have softmodded my crystal xbox using the UXE and now want to fit my 120gb hdd, does anyone know of anyguides to do this which are nice and easy to follow. I have seen that you can use somthing called xboxhdm but what I was wondering is if I can boot to my evox then swap the hdd over while its all on then boot the xbox-hq auto installer and prep the drive then install the UXE exploit from it? would this work?

The best and easiest way is through xboxhdm. Just go into evox, and select the backup option, then ftp to the xbox, and get your c drive files, and also your e drive files. Put these 3 things into their folders, and run a small batch file, then just burn the iso it makes to a cd-r and boot your computer off of the disk with only the new xbox hard drive attached, make sure to remove all other hard drives.

Then just follow the onscreen instructions.

Yup, you will also need your eeprom, and after you rebuild the hard drive, you will have to reboot, and lock it using your eeprom, then just pop the new hdd in and it should boot up just like your old drive. Atleast that's how mine works Wink
