My skin for XBMC is similar to the standard PMIII that comes with XBMC. So far, I've changed animations and a couple of textures.
However, I would like to improve this skin more. I checked out a few skins lately and this one seems a bit tacky and clunky. I'd like to make it smoother and possibly get some requests filled out for the skin.
So, who has downloaded it, who has used it, and who is using it? I'd like to know
Currently in line for updating is:
Animate out the bottom bar in the home screen with the icons
Make the bar in full screen video and music less ugly
Remove scan lines in home screen (if possible without running the left side)
Have a couple more fancy animations for various objects
Smooth out some images where you can see shade layers
Too optimistic for life updates:
Fix animation hang on navigation off of home screen for the first time
Add colour schemes (current is green, looking to add red and blue)
Possibly liven up the skin a bit more
HD textures (I actually started this as a project but it died fairly soon and I realised the SD textures were fine enough)
The too optimistic ones are things that somebody might be able to do, but I don't have much of a clue. Plus, I don't have any machines capable of making texture (XPR) files.
I'll be posting progress on here _________________

Since I can't get it to work, can I send zipped images to you SPPV so you can pack them to XPR and send back? _________________

Ive got a 32Bit XP Pro tower and a 64Bit Win7 Home Premium. Been a while since I used XPREpress (was on my old gaming tower also win7 64bit) and I run Font Bundle on my current gaming rig to make fonts for my installers and Ux skins all the time.
Sometimes with these kinda apps you need to make a batch file that will run it via CMD32 to work on 64bit systems (WMA2XMV comes to mind as one)

Apparently, according to gamedev.net, the failed to init D3D error is to do with software and hardware rendering. It can be solves by using D3DDEVTYPE_HAL in the source code, instead of D3DDEVTYPE_REF. _________________
