1st post to motivate and begin work on this project not much to see yet.
project outline:
to build two inexpensive bedroom kiosk centers for kids
requirements:
safety; electrics out of reach, and heavy parts stable enough to not be pulled down. controllers fitted to stop damages
simplify; hide away hardware and child proof software
entertain; provide games, television, music and movies which is easy to administer.
budget: $0 using existing parts and materials obtained for free or minimal expense
hardware:
xbox (softmod, hdd upgraded) 2x controllers
ps2 (softmod) 2x controllers 2x mics 2x memcards
tv
lcd screen
pc
satellite
network
notes:
any ideas or criticisms appreciated...

just moved house,but its in my mind everyday, especially when my son says things like you just need to pull out the memory card out and put it back in for the game to load, the mem card is for ps2 and has fmcb, argh it stopped working for days and countless reboots and i dont have a spare or hardmodded ps2.
gotte get these things behind a forcefeild or something,
my 3 year old takes xboxs apart all the time knows what hex to use and everything.
will make progress soon thats why i posted here, so i dont abandon the idea.
