ok had an issue had to reinstall softmod... did so with no issues but now i can't see my games in the programs option on xbmc, i have looked at F: & G: the games are still there just not showing up in xbmc... my movies show up no problems just my games and emulators... any help greatly appreciated.

Click on add source then browse for the games and emu folders and add them. Should work fine after that

OK so i have a v1.6 xbox with a 250 gig hdd, movies on f: as well as games and also some games on g:
it has been softmodded using aid4.5 disc to xbmc... all installs fine but, when i install anything like dvd2xbox it doesnt appear in the programs of the dashboard... i have to lauch it by filemanager, like wise with the games or emulators... this is the first time i have ever come across this, does anyone have any ideas?
i have tried fornatting c & e and re softmodding... all installs but still same issue it is very frustrating! i have also used dvd2xbox to rescan the hdd but still no go...
i installed the evox dash and it worked fine, with no issues but want to run xbmc as i always have... please if anyone can help out that would be great!

If its not an add source issue then grab XBMC-App Installer and use it to re do the mod and install XBMC as dash.

Hi, yea i can add source but it doesn't add the games or programs as shortcuts... it will add the folder, and to add source its a little much to add for each individual item... because the add source only points to the folder of where the .xbe file is so for example... i add source for dvd2xbox essentially all it does is direct it to the folder that the program is located in then you have to click on dvd2xbox to run...

It shouldnt and theres no need to pick each individual game etc. When you add source just pick the actual games folder or apps folder and hit OK. Thats the only way to get games apps etc listing in XBMC as it wont auto-scan for em like Evox or UnleashX will. They should then list and launch fine. If not you got a bunk-ass mod or bunk XBMC

ok, maybe my backup of the xbox msdash is dud... how can i return to a clean install of xbox msdash not using my back up? if anyone can help that would be great...
has no one had the same issue that im having ?

Use XBMC-App Installer to re-do the mod. If you have a Shadow C Pick Disable Shadow C from the menu before hitting Re-Do Softmod

If you are still having this issue Im in the process of making and uploading some videos that will hopefully solve your games/emus/apps not showing, give an idea what to expect with using my XBMC installer to remod/reinstall XBMC and what it is/how it works

So here it is on mine using the XBMC included in XBMC-App Installer and just using add source. You should get the same reult (may not look the same if running an older build or not using the Clearity skin)
