I'd make sure you have a LBA BIOS (if you can get an X3, use that because it is so easy to format drives with it) and your modchip supports it.

Did you use Pimped to build the drive or Chimp? Are you trying to format G or F & G? And what default allocation size, 16, 32 or 64? And what edition of XBPart are you using?

Pimped, G and F or both if I can I think it's 64 for a 2.0tb and I'm using 1.1 or 1.0

Be sure you are using 1.1, do the format at 64bits, and split the storage between F and G evenly

This will sound dumb but have you tried running XB partitioner 1.0 on the hdd at 32k just to get the ball rolling and then run 1.1 to set 64k?

Is the hdd sata?

Must be Sata since its 2TB. Heres the steps you should be following to be sure the HDD is prepared properly. Put it in your PC, boot Pimped pick option 1. type "xboxhd" answer "yes" until you get to where it says you have an F would you like it formated type "no". Now copy the files for C drive and E drive. Answer no to F. Now pick option 8, type "reboot", pick option 3, type "lockhd -a", when it asks if youre sure type "y" pay close attention to what it says after locking top 2 should say yes bottom 3 should say no. Type "poweroff" and put the HDD in your XBOX and turn it on. Go into settings and make sure F & G are enabled now try to format the raw space with XBPart and split the space evenly between the 2 partitions

Considering all the money youre spending on 1 and 2TB drives and having them blow on you, you should just send me the XBOX and HDD and email me the EEPROM and I'll build it for you and ship it back COD
