Posted: Tue Sep 06, 2011 10:09 pm Post subject: Hardmod Harddrive To Softmod Xbox - F: Shows 0gb
I have a 200GB hard drive from a Hard modded (flash tsop) V1.0/v1.1 xbox. The F: shows up and got a bunch of files on it.
When I put this HD into a softmodded xbox, locked it, the F: shows 0GB. The xbox boots fine and C: E: is fine. I just can't access the f: drive. I already checked USE F: = YES.
What can cause this ? How can I use this Hard drive on the softmod xbox ? I don't want to format F:.
Someone suggested "Change the softmod settings from 06 to 67, or vice-versa." - How to do this in AID ?

If you want to upgrade your softmod, put in AID and run it, go to backup, first backup EEPROM and move to E now FTP the EEPROM.bin file to your PC for safe keeping. Next pick create MS backup from AID, once thats done click on 1 click softmod. That should format the C drive and install SID5 with NKpatcher11. The other option is to download SID5 Pimped and do an HDD build with XBOXHDM or boot your xbox, run XBMC, FTP into your XBOX with internet Explorer, delete the contents of your C drive and replace with the files from Pimped C folder and delete the items.xml, evoxdash.xbe, and config.xml on E and replace with the files of same name from E folder of Pimped

I modded with latest using SID51. How do I get NKpatcher11 options menu after softmodded with SID51 ?
"Softmod Installer Deluxe 5.10 was created using the UnleashX dashboard (v0.39.0212 Build 570) and NKPatcher11 U04 (xman954 version).
NKpatcher (the Softmod itself) has been configured with LBA48 support (120 GB for F Drive and the rest on G) as standard for all installations and for booting the Softmod." - How do I get SID51 to use F Drive only and not G ?

If you used SID5 why are you asking about switching from NKPatcher 06 to 67 when its not used in SID, but rather Ndure1.0?
There is no NKPatcher options, just SOftmod Menu and dash Settings. If your storage settings are configured proper and youre using the latest dash and still nothing the only option left is to format the drive.

ok. That's the confirmation I need. I will softmod again with Krayzie_Ndure_Installer_v1.1. This should give the 06 / 67 choice. I don't want to reformat the F: partition as mention in OP.
