I would suggest downloading PowerISO and trying to convert it with that program to a .ISO and then use nero BR or PowerISO to attempt one last burn.
What is inside of the NRG file?
I tried that all ready and the game doesn't want to play, when I load it into my xbox it loads the default.xbe and shows another files data but all contents are there

Nothing, How ever like all the other games I tried loading it via ftp and it played fine up until the load screen and it just stopped so I know the game works fine I tried downloading that and got this message "The domain teamavalaunch.com may be for sale. Click here for details.

NRG is a nero imagefile, you need to mount and copy the files or extract it and make an xiso. Daemon tools, winmount and magicdisc are all free and work well.
