So it was working, and then it stopped?

Did you use a solderless install? If you did, the adapter probably slipped out of place and just needs to be popped back on.

If it's a solderfull install (???), then it could still be a hardware issue, like a wire falling out of its joint or somesuch. Can you boot to the MS dash?

Hey Corn, we need a little more info from ya mate. Like slick said is it a solderless mod or did you solder it in.

What did it do the first time and is it the same now? Can it boot to ms dash vs evox? Can it boot to a disk? What happens when you start the xbox by opening the dvd drive?

Just a handful of questions that can help us out in helping you out. Anything else you can htink of that would be of some help would be great.

I have a sloderless adapter for it. I tried boot with the disktray opener button and the same thing happened.

Like i said my screen is black the whole entire time.

I opened my xbox and took the modchip off of the solderless adapter, and tried to turn on the xbox...The xbox turned on and work fine as a unmodded xbox. I put the chip back on and it didnt work as before.

The first time i turned on the xbox, plugged it into my computer with a USB cord and flashed it with X-Control with x-chip Evox 2.5. I restarted my xbox and it workeed...then i put on slayers auto installer.

I tried using all different bios's to flash my xbox with and have used the backup one i made a lot also, but none of them seem to change the xbox.

It just sounds like the solderless adapter isn't tight or aligned properly.

If you truly think you have it installed okay, maybe your bios became corrupt?

It's hard to say, but I am leaning toward alignment issues.
