As requested by Hobbs heres a thread for suggestions for the site. I have a few in mind

1. 7Z support on uploads
2. Fix deletion error in PM inbox
3. Ability for authors to edit their tuts
4. To save money put all direct downloads in VIP and regular on UDP torrent
5. Since XBOX is just about dead make this site XBOX+Hq and cover all gaming/mod- PC, Wii, N64, PS2 except 360 since 360-Hq is doing just fine.
6. Be able to see videos, pictures, and attachments when previewing a post
7. Get the modder database on line

Thats all I can think of for now

Is there a size limit on the upload? I know when I uploaded a few of my video skins it said a couple were to big (that was in the regular download section). I'll get some stuff together and see how it goes.

7z seems to work fine, thanks Hobbs, can make stuff so much saller with 7z. Nothing like a 92% compression ratio

It seems to not like some files I keep getting the message the file is to big, but I just upped a skin pack that was even larger. The one I get the error on is 26mb but the skin pack I was able to up is 41mb. Makes no sense to me.

the normal downloads area is limited to 15-20 mb i believe. What browser are you using? i doubt there is much wrong so it wont take much to look at.

I use IE8. I tried 9 recently but its absolute crap, it crashes more than a drunk guy at NASCAR. What confused me is it seemed to accept my 40mb but not the smaller one. I'll see if I can use a higer compression ratio and bring it under 20mb. Is there a limit in the VIP? I was thinking of upping SID5 Pimped v2. I used max compression and got it down from 1.2GB to 586MB

2 More suggestions for the site

Add .torrent files to the list of accepted attachments

If possible use the same interface that you have when posting topics for the tuts. It seems to have more options than the tut interface.

cool, yup i will look into .torrents.. I want to have a torrent tracker just for Xbox 1 apps and stuff eventually, it all takes time.

good suggestions too, keep em coming and i will do my best to implement them. Im back to work again soon though (which sucks) and i wont exactly have alot of time on my hands then.

We dont need an actual tracker Hobbs we can run everything on DHT UDP and just have the torrent files for DL here. TPB and myself (not that Im even close to them on distribution) just use DHT UDP. If you want to switch some stuff over just let me know Ive got a network I just use for torrent and can DL and get all the stuff up as torrents using DHT UDP and up the torrent files here so people can access them.

Torrents are one part of the PC world I do know quite well and have enough storage space to get everything up Ive got 2 piece of shit computers I dont care about so I can run em for days like a 18th century manufacturer and keep alive even with all the H&R going around

Two more suggestions for ya Hobbs

1. For some reason 7z doesnt work in PM or attachment just for the download section ( i get 7z not supported whenever I try) if that could be fixed it would be great

2. Replace the screenshots of XBOX games on the homepage with short video clips. I can make the vids if youre up for it
