I aint one of those big modders out there but could this be done
they have those new solid state hard drives out there those run on sata connections
and the regular sata drives have a faster data transfer rate I know they have the sata power adaptors

this is just one of the sata adaptors I found when I googled

First there are a few issues with running SATA

1.Ghosting
2.Data Corruption
3.Decreased Data Transfer Rate

That said from what I can find from a pure logic standpoint its not possible to run SATA in a softmod XBOX since you need LBA48 support which is included in NKPatcher 11 ergo the XBOX wouldnt be able to utilize the drive till the softmod is performed.A chipped XBOX should be able to run it but again you have the issues stated above

ssd's rock.

i have one in my 4710 probook with 8g ram.

21 second boot from the time i hit the power.

sata drives do work, i was able to get the 160 working.

the data transfer is way faster than an ide drive.

i can also tell it is faster when i ftp to/from it.

good luck and dont give in.
