I have a v1.0 Xbox with modchip and EvoX installed on it.
Recently I had some clock problems, so I formatted the HDD, repartitioned it and started from scratch, so to speak, installing MS Dashboard.
It all went fine. MS Dashboard worked well and looked normal. Games from DVD also worked and Xbox logo at startup etc was green.
Next step was to install a Dashboard to get my games and emulators from HDD to work.
I booted up A.I.D. 4.x and selected Install EvoX from Dashboard menu.
It installed the stuff and I restarted the Xbox, taking out the DVD.
That is when things started acting weird. First of all, the Xbox logo was not green, it was all red and blue and the black parts of the screen were bleeding red and lots of blue dots all over. Also, EvoX never actually booted up. it just hung.
So I booted up the A.I.D. DVD again and selected Uninstall EvoX.
After that, I booted up Xbox, but the colors were all still messed up.
Again, from A.I.D. I selected one-click UnleashX install. Although this went OK, the XboX logo at startup still had the wired colors.
Unleash Dashboard itself looks fine, colorwise. (Default is blue I think?) and no bleedings or strange graphics.
But when I start up any emulator or a game, the colors are all off again. Basically it almost looks like green is missing... I checked my TV cable and they were all fine.
The only thing that has normal colors is UnleashX Dashboard and its submenus. One exception though: XBMC menu colors is also messed up in the same way.
Is this controlled from the BIOS? Does AID write to BIOS when installing EvoX? Any idea what happened at that first installation?
Pleeeeeaaaase help meeeee!!!!

OK, its possible your xbox is a PAL or an NTSC XBOX and is set to the incorrect setting. There is a program i think is called Enigma that will allow you to change your video format from one to the other. I only know this because i had the same problem a few years ago and learned from my mistakes lol.

Enigmah-X PAL/NTSC Video Selector
The Enigmah Video Mode Select CD is a tool that converts any NTSC box into a full PAL box so you get a full color output. Also works on JAP machines and PAL machines,(if you want to convert PAL to NTSC). Elminate all Black & White problems without the need for a full RGB lead. Press A to select PAL and Press B to select NTSC, press X and Y for a few extras
