Hi first off al :
My xbox harddisc is empty , and its locked.
SO i cant start up my xbox again and its locked.
If i wanna unlock it , it says its LOCKED.
How can i unlock it??
I found a tool. but that tool says: SECURITY COUNT EXPIRED
Whats that mean? and how to solve it?
PLZ HELP ME

Welcome to the HQ Mate!
First off, is this a hdd that is going into an xbox?
Xbox hdd's are married to the motherboard. They are locked to the motherboard and will not work on another. The only way to unlock the hdd is to obtain the eeprom. Be warned though. An unlocked hdd will render your box useless. The only way to fix it will be to chip the box.
With that being said....What specifically do you want to accomplish?

You could also hotswap the drive, but it's a trial and error thing f stopsor most new people. Just a question, are you sure the drive is empty?
after the blubber screen just stops, and no more music, you unplg the ide cable from the drive, but leave the power connector to it. The drive is now unlocked.
Next thing to do is use a full copy of the original xbox image and restore it back to the xbox drive using your home computer using xbhdm.
But if your xbox is chipped, then put in a new drive and load up AIO and you're good to go.
If you need more info, let me know and I'll do my best to find all the tuts for the process. But it's a long process to do.

Cant i just put a 8gb hard disk in it?
I maked it ready with xbox hdm 1.9 and installed the nieuw partitions/xbox dash files on the 8gb harddisk.
can i use it now?

also if i use my broken/empty 160gb harddisk in the xbox, error 06 appears.
How to solve?

Check this out man, this tool may cost a few bucks (depending on the size of the HDD) but i have personally used it and it does work, trust me.

No it doesnt work that way, and if your gonna take the time to build a drive from scratch then make it worth while and use a non stock HDD. Hook your 160gb up to your computer copy off the c and e drives with xplorer360, make sure to get the EEPROM file, it should be located in backup on E. Then copy the files to a new HDD
