Hi there my name is Max this is my first post ! I have some modding experience on other console but am new to xbox.

Yesterday my neighbor sold me two 'broken" xbox for 25$.
One of them had error 16 and i could fix it using this Tut.

I had a spare PC around. I used it to do the hotswap trick and fix it with Xplorer360 by putting back original files on Xbox c: . Now i got a stock unmodded Xbox but i want to softmod it.

All the info i can find, and i searched alot before posting, Is about using a game and an action replay, or else hotswap + boot on cd with pc.

The problem is i dont have action replay or splinter cell, And the cd drive on my spare PC is broken .

Is there a way to just copy all the files needed for a softmod in the c: of the xbox using a pc and Xplorer360 ? Like i just did to put it back to stock ?

If that can be done fairly easily, that would be more handy than buying/waiting for new stuff. Also, i already have the hotswap setup ready.

If you have no worrys about using the hotswap method then yes you can.
